Clifford is a RAM licenced life model (number 1287)- CRB cleared - working mainly in London and the Home Counties. He is fit for his age and the range and originality of his poses draw considerable acclaim. He also does photo modelling, body painting, performance art, sculpture modelling etc.
Clifford is not a 'See me, Draw me, Pay me' sort of model. He is primarily an actor (Equity member), which enriches his poses. Conversly, he finds the physical discipline of modelling for drawers, painters, photographers and sculptors very beneficial for his acting work.
He takes a pride in everything he does and sees it as a model's function to challenge the artists he poses for to achieve ever better work, whilst having due regard for their levels of experience and ability. Life/modelling is an art form in its own right.

Working model doing life, sculpture and portraiture work since 2008. His work takes in a wide variety of venues, including Mall Galleries, Art Workers' Guild, Mary Ward Institute, Salon Gallery, University of the Third Age, Double Negative, Moving Picture Company and many other groups, colleges, galleries etc doing both tutored and untutored sessions for all levels of experience and ability.
Clifford will work draped or undraped and will do portraiture as well as mainstream modelling. He is not camera shy but does not permit photography during sessions, except for continuity purposes.
Clifford normally accepts paid work only.
RAM write up:
CLIFFORD ALLISON (RAM 1287) is a mature model (50s) of heavy build but, to quote from his RAM audition notes from 2007, "obviously fit". The audition notes are also full of admiration for his extensive range of original poses - and even his bearing: "He has the bearing and appearance of a successful managing director" is what it says! Clifford is available at any time in Beds (London and surrounds) for life, portrait and photo modelling, also body casting and body painting. He will work on either an employed or self-employed basis. There are PICS of Clifford in the licence-holders' area.

Clifford is the first to admit that he himself is not gifted with brush, pen, charcoal or implements! He sees his modelling work very much as 'his contribution to art' and loves what he does.
He's also an actor, see http://www.spotlight.com/interactive/cv/1014-8947-0547 but finds that modelling helps his physical control as an actor and enables him to bring expression to his modelling. These two creative disciplines compliment each other incredibly well.
Modelling also helps him to keep physically fit and affords chances to 'switch off' mentally whilst posing; a rare privilege in this day and age!

Clifford is a lifelong fan of the Beano and does not read alot for pleasure. When he does read he prefers factual books, such as history, or books about the history of his profession and those involved in it.
