Hello! I'm an actor who, in September 07, decided that he had little enough money to apply for a life modelling job in Salford to get a little extra money. Found it to be a very relaxing past time, and so I decided to branch out with other classes. I'm now 29 and have been modelling ever since.

I'm now also a full member of RAM, number 1571.

Please reach me here, or on RobHoth@hotmail.com

REFERENCES:

Rob was a life model for my surgical art course held at the Association of Surgeons in Training Conference in Manchester. He was very pleasant, friendly and has a bright personality which put the students at ease. He was very punctual and accommodating for the very long eight hour surgical art class.

He was an excellent life model and I have no hesitation in recommending him for any life drawing art classes. I will definitely be using him again when we have another surgical art class in Manchester.

Sincerely, ¬
Catherine Sulzmann
Medical Illustrator

Rob has modeled for my group at Islington Mill on a number of occasions and has proved to be a professional and talented model. He is a reliable time keeper and has helped me cover absences at short notice. He has a friendly and relaxed attitude that puts nervous or new members of the group at ease, I would recommend him for any assignments that he applies for for and will continue to employ him in the future. -

Sarah Waite (Life Drawing co-ordinator)
Islington Mill, Salford

Rob Hudson has been modeling for my life drawing sessions in Didsbury, Manchester on numerous occasions.
Rob is very professional, reliable, and works really well as a life model. He can stay still for periods of time. Rob's experience as an actor also projects into the modeling and he can be expressive when needed.
We really enjoy working with him.
I have no hesitation recommending Rob to other life drawing classes. -

In the short time I have known Rob he has proved to be punctual and very professional in his role as a Life Drawing Model. I will certainly use Rob again in the near future. -

Tutor - Pendleton College

LIFE DRAWING: I'm a regular model for 2 life drawing class in Salford, at Brunswick house and Islington Mill, doing 5, 10, 20, 30, 45 and hour long poses. I also work regularly for Helena Wall at the Didsbury life drawing group on Thursdays. I've worked for the Liver Sketch club in Liverpool on many occasions, posing for 3 hour sessions. I've also done one session with the Preston group ran by David (BigFrog), one session with Pendleton College, and one with Liverpool University students.

PHOTOGRAPHY: I have sat for two life photo shoots; one in Manchester city centre, for an art project, and one for a professional photographer (WilliamDavid) in Cheshire.

I'm very easy going, open to ideas and suggestions, but at the same time am able to come up with poses of my own.

None really, apart from a few sketches when I'm not modelling! I'm primarily an actor, so I try to give expression to the poses I take when life modelling. That doesn't mean I smile or scowl :D I try my best to make each pose interesting for the artists present.

Films, acting, comedy, theatre, improvisation, jokes, chatting, sport and computers.

Yes, fine thanks.  I have just uploaded a recent drawing of me and I took a look at your pictures.  Your poses are very good and the drawings are good too.  Tony.

Welcome note from admin:
Welcome to LifeART, the networking site for artists and models. Modeling can often be a solitary profession with no contact or advice from other models. LifeART breaks down these barriers and offers help and advice to all. Be sure to check into the forum to view topical discussion between artists and models.

Members are reminded to be careful with whom they make contact and to take necessary precautions when meeting anyone for the first time. Please report any suspicious behaviour to keep this a safe and friendly environment.

Members must not harass other members. This is not a dating site. LifeART shares information with RAM and inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. Reported members will be removed without warning.

Photos are allowed up to a level of artistic nudity. This is NOT an adult site. Art tutors do not wish to see anatomical studies of genitals and any such images will considerably reduce your chances of finding work. Repetitive self-timer images that focus on the genitals will also be removed. Also, no erections or images that could be considered to contain semi erections. Finally, please do not include frontal nudity on your MAIN profile picture.
