Well, it's been a while since I wrote a blog. This is because not much life art related has been going on - but in the interests of keeping active in the blogosphere I thought I'd best ramble a bit about stuff - and try and make it realted to life modeling in some way!!
First off... a bit well done to Rachel and the RAM "techie man" for the new and improved site. It's so much easier to use now. Fantastic!!
What next ... was interested in my reaction to the London to Brighton charity bike ride last sunday ( took me 5 hours to complete ). Loads of people of different shapes and sizes - in lycra cycling outfits!! Formerly some of them I would have "oggled" and some I would have though to myself "you really shouldn't be wearing that". Now, due to my experiences in the life room I am sure, I was thinking more along the lines of what interesting shapes every one had.
Speaking of different shapes, I am quite taken by the idea of two models posing in concert to produce different shapes for the artists. I know there are threads where this has been discussed in detail and I'm not wanting to start a new discussion. Just rambling away woith my own thoughts.
You see, while I'd love to try posing with another model I can't help feeling you'd need to be used to that person and being nude with them. I suppose ideally it would be your partner or a very close friend. If like me your partner and close friends wouldn't dare model clothed, never mind nude, then you have a problem. How do you get used to being nude with someone.
Advertising that you want to get used to being nude with someone then go life modeling with them sounds so weird! Even to me it sounds like something a pervy old man would try on for kicks!!
Ah well... maybe one day someone will surprise me!! Until then it's going to stay as me doing poses on my own and letting the artist fit them together if they want a crowded scene!!
