Nottingham city centre, 23 June 2012, 10.30 to 16.30, £28.
Experiment with materials and drawing processes - explore new directions and build confidence, in this workshop led by artist and University of Nottingham tutor Kate Genever. We will start with warm up drawing exercises, both large and small scale. A series of short poses will follow, using different media such as ink, paint, charcoal, pencil and collage or even clay. We will then move on to large scale and longer poses in the afternoon, incorporating the techniques and approaches from the morning.
Come along and enjoy a day of life drawing working from model Julie Moosburg in a fully equipped artists’ studio. You will receive individual support and informal feeedback in a relaxed and friendly environment - maximum 12 places (age 16+).
Whether you are new to life drawing or an experienced artist, all are welcome.
Fee includes basic materials and model costs. Tea, coffee and biscuits provided – bring a packed lunch!
