Arrived in Suffolk

Well - we've arrived here in Suffolk and, despite living out of boxes and cooking on the camping stove, I've managed to locate some of my paints, drawing materials, paper and canvases.  I'm keen to get going again (after what seems like ages of no drawing) and hope to start posting again soon.  Meanwhile, any other information about groups in the Bungay/ Waveney Valley area would be very welcome.

Hi Tina

Thanks for the additional information.  We've been so busy getting organised and making our new house habitable that I've not been to any groups since leaving Preston! I'm really missing the regular practice now.  However, I'm resolved to get to the Lowestoft group on a regular basis in the New Year while I investigate other (perhaps more local) possibilities.  I'mn sure we'll mneet up at some point before too long.

All the very best for 2011

Hi Malcolm

Welcome to Suffolk!

I hope to bump into you on one of the life classes in the area. Did I give you Rebecca Lyne contact details. She runs life classes in Wingfield Barn (A fantastic place to work.)  Once a month and Hoxen village hall every week. http://waveneysprings.co.uk/artists/48/parr-and-lyne/

She is brilliant so enthusiastic. I love working for Rebecca.

If you discover an artist or classes I dont know about please let me know!

Have a great 2011

Tina

Hello Malcolm

I've recently arrived in Suffolk.  I was an art student many years ago ( Hartlepoo 1956)l and now in my retirement would like to do some life drawing just for my own pleasure.  If you hear of any groups in this area I would be grateful if you could let me know .

Kind regards

Pat Marlow

LifeART ...the artist and model network
Welcome note from admin:
Welcome to LifeART, the networking site for artists and models. Modeling can often be a solitary profession with no contact or advice from other models. LifeART breaks down these barriers and offers help and advice to all. Be sure to check into the forum to view topical discussion between artists and models. Members may promote their services on the forum for free or subscribe to Gold Membership to have their profiles added to the search boxes to maximise their chances of finding work. Gold Membership is only £16 per year and also entitles members to send and receive messages on the main database.

Your account will automatically upgrade upon your funds being released from Paypal. This is usually instant although some forms of transaction take longer than others.

Members are reminded to be careful with whom they make contact and to take necessary precautions when meeting anyone for the first time. Please report any suspicious behaviour to keep this a safe and friendly environment.

Members must not harass other members. This is not a dating site. LifeART shares information with RAM and inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. Reported members will be removed without warning.

Photos are allowed up to a level of artistic nudity. This is NOT an adult site. Art tutors do not wish to see anatomical studies of genitals and any such images will considerably reduce your chances of finding work. Repetitive self-timer images that focus on the genitals will also be removed. Also, no erections or images that could be considered to contain semi erections. Finally, please do not include frontal nudity on your MAIN profile picture.

Thank you for your co-operation and happy browsing!
