Have been, shipboard steward, office boy, chorus boy, statistician, salesman (abysmal failure), personnel officer, soldier, troubleshooter, human resource director, secretary of an employers' association. Now (2009 almost retired).
Painter and photographer of portraits and the figure. My endeavour is that my work contains a story either by attitude, expression or location.
I have my own studio in Kettering, Northamptonshire.

Painting and drawing for about fifteen years. Photography only for a year. For several years had my own annual exhibition in a marquee. When the marquee sprung a leak in 2007 that was the end. Quite a number of people were kind enough to purchase one of my works and 30% of such income went to the charity Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

All movies with a strong theme, lots of action, well photographed, good musical background. Without that lot I fall asleep.
eg., Dances with wolves, Delta of Venus, Stagecoach, Gunfight at the OK corral, Leaving Las Vegas
