I would just like to say that I am constantly spurprised by the qaulity of work by both artists and models on this site and especially from the great camaradarie from those of similar mind. Special thanks to Curvy but in general to everone who takes life drawing as a a serious discipline. in the short time that I have been a member I have enjoyed the work of virtually everyone on the site and taken some inspiration. On the very minimal negative side, one cynical member has not deterred my enthusiam for work but inspired me to produce more so.... LIFEART I congratulate you for a great site JAMES 3:50 Easter Sunday a tad inebriated but nevertheless sane. XX
My next exhibition will be throughout Normandy during the D-Day 65th anniversary commemorations for which I have produced 0 paintings of Major Dick Winters, who was highlighted in the Spielberg/Hanks epic series 'Band of Brothers'.Â
I am hoping the exhibition will highlight the fact that despite incredible bravery this man who went to war looking for peace has nor been awarded The congressional Medal of Honour despite acts of extreme courage.
My second exhibition this will entitled Seeing is Believing and will exhibit 10 paintings showing Rock Stars as Biblical Characters and will be in London. One of the paintings 'The Way things are Going' examines John Lennon and the parallels between his life, the crucifixtion and other issues too numerous to discuss here. I will leave those for the viewer.
